Wellness classes are the cornerstones of Lourdes Wellness Center.  Each year we offer a variety of different classes for the community and surrounding area, ranging from one-evening workshops to 10-week series.  Our offerings change each season, although some staples have been offered since our inception.  Throughout the years, the Wellness Center has proudly introduced inspirational classes about innovative and exciting topics that relate to the mind, body and spirit.  With an array of classes that include everything from yoga and shiatsu to smoking cessation and stress management to art journaling and spiritual direction - we are certain to offer something that appeals to

 every individual.

 

Fitness, Wholistic Movement & Yoga Classes
Our calendar includes an unusual array of yoga themes and styles that emphasize spirituality, breath awareness and body flow for students of all levels and abilities.

Support Groups
We have several support groups on a number of topics.  Talking about issues or concerns in a supportive, confidential environment can help with the learning, coping and healing process. 

Healthy Lifestyle Offerings
Our Healthy Lifestyle offerings are designed to give you and your family easy access to the information you need to stay healthy.  Our classes and free seminars are attended by thousands of individuals each year.

Sulmasy, OFM, MD, PhD, a Franciscan Friar, is the Kilbride-Clinton Professor of Medicine and Ethics in the Department of Medicine and Divinity School at the University of Chicago, where he serves as Associate Director of the  MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics, and Philip J. Boyle, PhD, is Vice President of Mission & Ethics at Catholic Health.  There will also be a panel consisting of Margaret Fernandes, M.D., Chief, Division of Neonatology, and Karen Haigh, R.N., Nurse Manager, ICU.

 

Time: Registration at 8:30 a.m.

Programs starts at 9:00 a.m., and ends at 1:00 p.m.
